Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Group

 The Steps

1. (Armour + Weapons)  Heavily dry brush the armour, weapons and shield with a 2:1 mix of  Leadbelcher and Hashut Copper. After this has dried, apply a black wash made up from Abaddon Black and water. Apply a very light dry brush of Runefang Steel to the chain mail, the edges of the shield and weapons and some areas of the plate armour. 

2. (Skin) Paint the skin with Doombull Brown.

3. (Cloth + Straps) Paint all the straps, the soles of the sandals and the loin cloth with Mournfang Brown.

4. (Hair) Paint the hair with either Dawnstone, Mournfang Brown or Gorthor Brown.

5. (Wash) Mix up some water and Rhinox Hide and apply this to all the model except the armour.

6. (Skin 2) Apply a dry brush of Doombull Brown mixed with a little White Scar to the skin.

7. (Finishing Touches) Paint the teeth with a small amount of White Scar, also paint the white hand of Saruman on the shield and somewhere on the armour.
